Gina Lariccia is among the few stylists in Connecticut formally trained and certified in the Vidal Sassoon method. She spent time in London mastering this discipline, learning to see hair as an architectural form, one that should be shaped with intention and artistry.

Every haircut Gina creates is custom-tailored to the client’s head shape, texture, and lifestyle. Through deliberate angles, clean lines, and controlled graduation, she designs hair that falls beautifully into place. The result is movement, lightness, and a silhouette that holds its form, a haircut that quite literally self-styles.

Most American stylists are not trained in these techniques because they are not widely taught in the United States. Instead, many rely on texturizing or heavy product routines to create shape. Gina’s Sassoon training allows her to cut with such precision that the hair itself becomes the style.

Gina spent 30 days in London to become certified in this British hair cutting technique which is all about precision, creating structure, and using geometric shapes to create haircuts that are chic and easy to maintain without the need for a lot of expensive hair products.

Men's Hybrid Cut

We use both classic cutting and barbering techniques. Using the best clippers and edgers by Babylyss and Gamma Italia, we define and taper the hair line, including any facial hair. We cut the top of the hair using Toni & Guy point cutting methods to create density or to remove weight to create an ideal shape for the style. Includes a shampoo and rinse using Eleven Australia Men's hair care.

The Bespoke Blowout

There's nothing quite like a professional shampoo and blow dry. It's one of life's little luxuries, and our blowouts really last. Our classic shampoo is customized to your hair's style and texture. Using different methods from round brushes to roller setting, or a Dyson Air Wrap, we will finish your blow dry with style. We LOVE to finish and dress the hair and never skimp on this step.

Bobs & Lobs

A classic hairstyle that is here to stay is the bob which looks effortlessly beautiful whether worn straight, slicked back or with casual waves!  Bobs require precision cutting to ensure we get the right length, angles and straight lines to ensure your hairstyle sits beautifully.  Our stylists are all trained in precision cutting and can create the perfect bob style for you, whether that's jaw-length, sweeping over your cheekbones or somewhere in between!  Lobs are a lovely alternative to a bob if you want a slightly longer bob that sits on or above the shoulders.

Our stylists reckon there is a short hairstyle to suit every face shape and every type of hair.  If you've been longing to try a short chic hairstyle, trust your hair in the hand of our styling team.  Book a consultation so we can assess your hair, chat about the looks you love, and come up with some suggestions for hairstyles that will suit you.  There are plenty of short hairstyles to choose from including the iconic pixie cut, asymmetrical hairstyles, undercuts, layered hairstyles and blunt bob haircuts. 

 

Layered Hairstyles

Sometimes all it takes to give your hairstyle a new lease of life is a few well-placed layers!  If your long one-length hair is sitting there like a pair of curtains, chat to your Terence Paul stylist about what we can do to bring it back to life.  One sure-fire way is to add layers throughout your hair to give it movement and the appearance of volume.  Long and mid-length hairstyles with lots of layers are great looks because they give you plenty of styling options.  Wear your hair a bit messy and tousled, slicked back, or styled straighter with lots of volume.
